Welcome to Christ Church in Great Broughton, a church at the heart of the community. We are an active church involved in our own villages and neighbouring communities, sharing the love of Jesus through activities, events and friendship.

History

Christ Church was built in 1856 from local stone between the villages of Little Broughton and Great Broughton. It is a simple design with a nave and chancel on the same level and a sanctuary with only one step higher. The church has been lovingly restored in the past two years having been re-roofed and new ceiling panels between the beams and a new electrical system and lighting installed. The church has also been re-decorated.
